No main classes found netbeans3/31/2023 Note that all methods are public and abstract implicitly even though you usually omit those two keywords. Protected GeometricObject(String color, boolean filled) You will realise that the 90% of that interface which consists of documentation comments (as I told you yesterday) is missing because I only took 30 seconds to write that code. GeometricObject.java: The abstract GeometricObject class I have tried to work this on my own (as the other problems I have had) and I am getting nowhere. Import .eventbus.First I want to THANK YOU ALL so much for all the help!!! Without this site I would have had to quit because no one had the time to help me. But if you run the module using command line, the logging info will be shown in the terminal. If you use slf4j in your project as below, you may find the logging information will not be shown in the Netbeans console. Now if you press Run Project again, Netbeans will run the module. So that vertx maven plugin will be used to start the module. Set “Run project” in Actions as shown in the picture below. If so, you can correct this problem by right clicking on the project and selecting the properties menu item. When you created the project, you probably unchecked the box telling Netbeans to create a main class which is its default. You need to modify the project properties. Netbeans is really telling you there is no main CLASS then you also have another problem. If you click Run Project button, Netbeans will say “no main classes found”. Run the module directly in Netbeans IDE.In this case the vertx module will not be copied to the vertx repository ( HOME/Dev/vertx-mods). Vertx runzip ~/NetBeansProjects/vertxProject/target/ You can also use vertx runzip to run the module zip file directly. After runmod, the vertx module will be copied to this folder. For example, I create my repository in the folder HOME/Dev/vertx-mods. It is recommended to create your own vertx module repository by setting VERTX_MODS environment variable. Note vertx will look for the module from the repository, by default, in the folder mods and sys-mods in the vertx installation folder and also from the your local mave repository such as ~/.m2/repository. Module fi.tut~vertxProject~1.0-SNAPSHOT successfully installed Vertx runmod fi.tut~vertxProject~1.0-SNAPSHOT When using runmod, you need to use the module name. (Later we will see also how to run the module directly in Netbeans). Now you can use vertx (installed on your computer) to run the module, either use vertx runmod or vertx runzip.
